American Embassy

Holy shit. This is the American Embassy and it is guarded like nothing I've ever seen before. That concrete pillar that you see lines the road, then you can see the razor sharp wall behind that, etc. There is barbed wire, armed security guards, guards that make a continuous loop around the place in cars, etc. Really, it's probably the most secured building on the island besides the king's palace from what I've seen so far. If you live near this place you can sleep soundly at night because of all the security. It's amazing. The other embassies on the island have guard shacks, etc, but have no where near the protection of this place. I realize we aren't the most liked nationality in the world, and they obviously know it here:)
