One would assume that the Bahrain government would do a little better job maintaining such a "tourist" attraction. The "tree of life" upon closer inspection is more like the "tree of graffitti." The majority of the limbs were covered in paint just like this one. Did I mention the trash everywhere? Maybe it's not the government that is the problem here. Maybe it's the people. I mean, what the hell? There was trash stuck in the tree way up top as wll, so it was evident people had been climbing this tree just to leave thier water bottle sandwiched in between limbs.
