So we bought these cheap alarm clocks (which the alarm sucks, BTW ) and they had a thermometer on them. So we set them outside to see how hot it was--this is reading 104 in the shade and it wasn't done going up. It eventually topped out at HI. Right now as I type this, my computer says it's 90 outside and it's 7:10 at night. The sun went down 2 hours ago, and this is apparently the start of the "cooler" season here. I'll believe it when I feel it. Although I must say I have gotten quite adjusted to the heat. And it happened much sooner than I thought it would too. When I got off the plane it was midnight here and I just started sweating profusely. Now it doesn't have that effect on me at all. One month is all it took. Posted by Picasa
