Desert camps

So back to Josh and my adventure the other day. We wandered out to the oil fields which are on the central to southern part of the island to see these camps that people put up in the winter. This is middle eastern camping at it's best. Apparently you can rent plots of land from the government in the oil fields and set up shop for the winter to come out on the weekends to "camp." It was fucking amazing. In the summer there is absolutely NOTHING out here. No people, no camps, nothing but pipes and wells. Now there are THOUSANDS of people out here, camping, riding four-wheelers, etc. It was truly a sight. Take for example this picture. That is a pipeline in front of those tents. I think we are going to do this next year :) Hell, it's 7:55 at night right now, 64 degrees and rainy. Perfect desert camping weather.

Byron wants to be desert trailer trash.

You can take the boy out of Ashtabula...but you can't take Ashtabula out of the boy.
