Entering a town

This is what it's like on the middle part of the island. You'll be out in the middle of nowhere and suddenly enter a village, just like this one. You can usually tell what kind of village it's going to be right away. For example, we entered one just after this one that had black rebel flags everywhere, and you knew it was probably in your best interest to turn around. In some you'll see car repair shops everywhere, others you'll see small pottery shops everywhere, etc.
