Is it a good idea to have a fire by oil pipelines?

I don't particularly think so. Here are some more desert camps. Notice the couch in the third picture. Nice. The second one cracks me up--look how close those pipelines are to the tents. Those oil and gas lines crisscross EVERYWHERE down here so it's near impossible to NOT set up camp next to them.
