A Bahraini Christmas tree
I know I mentioned earlier that we went to BamBu courtesy of Jim and Janet, and the only picture I got that night was of this Christmas tree. It's incredibly weird to see a Muslim country like this decked out with Christmas paraphernalia.

Lots of Christmas paraphanelia, but no candy canes anywhere! (and I have looked... =(
I know--we've run into the same problem... although at one store they had a display but no canes left except for the solid white ones. Who wants solid white candy canes on your tree? Not me.
