The big announcement!
No, I'm not engaged. But something along those lines--meet Rachel, who I am officially now dating:) I know I've posted a bunch of pics of her here in the past, but for those of you that don't know her Rachel is from Minnesota, a 4th grade language arts teacher at MKS, and is a great person:)

Byron's big announcement goes on him blog for everyone to know. I only had to tell one person in Minnesota and all new by the next day.

Rachel is not A great person, she is THE greatest person, which is why I choose her as my best friend! So, now with that out of the way, what does "No, I'm not engaged, but something along those lines" mean? Dating is not along the lines of engaged...am I missing something here??

Naughtyangel, you are indeed missing something. Dating is EXACTLY on the lines of engagement. It's a simple course of action. People date, then get engaged, then get married. Did I say I was engaged to her? Nope. I just said dating. A big announcement could have been anything. I could have bought a house, I could have finally given birth (considering I've been 8 months pregnant for about 3 years), or I could have bought a case of Bass beer.
