Black flags.

So there was an uprising the other day between the majority Shi'a population and the minority but ruling Sunni classes. It is entirely too complicated for me to discuss here, and if you are interested I suggest you check out my fellow blogger, Mahmood. Either way they left their mark, and here is proof of that. If you've read any of my previous posts, you should remember that the US military has been instructed to stay far, far away from black flag neighborhoods. Well, Josh and I live in one of them and when we wandered into this particular neighborhood today I was fine but four months ago I would have been petrified. Not now. Now it's just another shady black flag neighborhood. They don't hate Americans, they hate the Sunni.
