My birthday dinner #3

I tell you what--it was incredibly nice to be spoiled this year in terms of my birthday. Normally people just lump it in with Christmas and that's the end of it. However, this year it's been much better. I've celebrated my birthday at least 4 times at a restaurant (tonight at BamBu! thanks Janet and Jim!!!) and once at a big party. That will do wonders for your morale when you are far from home. Anyway, this particular party was at Brazil about two days ago. Brazil is a restaurant by the same owners of BamBu! so the concept is the same--eat and drink till you can't eat and drink no mo' for one price. However, the blaring difference between BamBu! and Brazil is the food and the presentation of said food. BamBu!'s food is Thai, but Brazil's food is obviously Brazilian. And then comes the presentation. The food at Brazil comes to your table served on a 3 ft. sword doubling as a skewer. Niiiiice.... It was a meat lover's paradise. They had at least 4 different kinds of steak, PORK!!, chicken, you name it. It was spectacular, expect for the fact that the occasional sword had odd things like chicken hearts. Get past that, though, and it was fucking awesome. I'll be back, for sure!
