Flood!!
So this has been one of the rainiest seasons EVER on record here in Bahrain. I came out here with the understanding that it only rained once or twice a year. Not this year. Holy shit. It rained HARD the last three days. And what do you get in a country that is at sea level with zero drainage? Floods, that's what! I parked my car the night before nowhere near water, but the next morning found it completely flooded. I was joking with Shamsu asking why he didn't wash my car that morning--and you know what he did? This morning he went out at 4:30 AM and washed my car in freezing temperatures barefoot in about 4 inches of standing water. He thought I was mad at him, even though I thought I CLEARLY made it known I was joking the day before. Talk about feeling bad--holy shit. The poor guy is going to get pneumonia from washing my car. That photo of Josh's foot was him trying to get to my car--well before it actually started to get deep where it was sitting when Shamsu washed it. I can only imagine what poor Shamsu must have looked like out there in the dark and cold washing my car... To make it up to him we got a heater for him for his little elevator access room/flat. He was lit up like a Christmas tree when Josh gave it to him. There is no reason why anyone should freeze in Bahrain, especially when it is a friend of ours...

You are fucking awesome.
That is all.
What? That I inadvertently made Shamsu wash my car? That's not fucking cool. That's fucking mean, man!
No, you bought him a heater.
That's awesome.
And, you actually feel bad for making him go out in the cold and the wet.
Believe it or not, you've grown as a person, Byro.
Awww, thanks Adam. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside...
