Some of the kids

The first picture was taken by Rachel--that is Edyta, the science teacher from Poland. She's extremely nice and a great teacher. She's helping Meshal with his homework after school during homework club which is for at-risk kids to get help for an hour after school twice a week with homework. The next two are from Thursday morning, which was when the school was having its National Day celebration. Someone gave them all flags--which was a horrible idea, because then they just started beating each other with them. Oh well. It was the last day of school before winter break, who cares;) Anyway, this is the courtyard area where we line them up in the morning and where they go play during break. It's all brick with absolutely NO grass, but they manage to play soccer everyday as if they were on a grass pitch. It's a wonder no one has been seriously injured. I guess they are used to making do with what they have in this country...

Not this matters to anyone, but Edyta is not helping Meshal. He would be in the homework club with you and not with us. I would tell you who she is helping, but I don't know.

My bad. I can't remember that kid's name for the life of me. I guess that will happen when you have a shitty memory and 140 plus kids...

Here's a warning for all of Byron's women-friends in Bahrain:

You've been warned.
