HOLY SHIT

look at this team of Indians on my car!! I went to get the windows tinted as well as a remote power door lock/alarm system installed the other day, and this is a picture of the team of Indians going to town on my windows. They had not one guy (like in the states), not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, BUT SEVEN GUYS tinting my windows AT ONCE. And to top that off they had two more managers looking on to make sure they did a good job. It was absolutely amazing. They had the whole car tinted in less than an hour. On top of that, it is really high quality, heat repelling tint and it was dirt cheap--40 dinars. Rock on. The only problem I had was with the door lock/alarm system. Apparently the electrician miswired it because the alarm went off all night long (even though I didn't know about it until the morning) every half hour. I'm sure I was a hated man that morning in the village. I'm actually surprised my car didn't get fucking keyed, cause I probably would have deserved it. It's a really obnoxious alarm:) At school I parked in my usual spot out front and you could hear the alarm clear as day in the classroom. You could set your watch to how accurate (trust me, I did--every half hour--to the second) it was in terms of going off. Luckily my remote reached the car from my room, so when I knew it was about to go I had my fingers on the button in my pocket. The kids had no idea. Well, until Laurie told them it was my car. Thanks, Laurie. Anyway, it's fixed now and it is baaad ass. I don't know how long I could have lived with manual locks when you can get remote power locks for 15 dinars in this country. God, I love the middle east when it comes to certain things...
