Some more photos

And here are some more, with many to go... This is driving back from Madrid, we saw a few solar panel farms, but this was the biggest. Thousands and thousands of panels. I have no idea what they were powering, but it was cool.
These bulls were everywhere along the highways in Spain. We must have seen 20 of them as we drove to different cities.
Every so often along the highways in Spain we'd run across these bridges. They always were really small, no more than one lane across. But they didn't look old, and I couldn't figure out what they were for for quite some time. They have shitty looking (meaning non-automobile) dirt roads leading up on either side and it finally hit me what they were for. They were always in farm country, and I think they are for farmers so they can get their tractors and shit from one side of the field to the other because the highway cuts through it. How nice of Spain.
So when Rachel opened up the glove compartment of the rental car, we found a reflective vest, similar to what Dad wears for ODOT. I wondered what the hell it was for, until we started seeing people broken down on the highway, and all of them were wearing one of these vests. Later I was reading a pamphlet on Spanish road laws and one of them is that you have to have one of these in your car and wear it in case of breakdown. Another fucked up one they have is that if you wear glasses you have to have a spare set in the car at all times. Apparently they check for them every year during inspection.
A small town near the cable car. We got off on the wrong exit looking for the cable car, but still found some cool stuff.
Like this castle thing.
And this. I had to drive to it to see what the hell it was. More on that in a second.
Benalmadena--the wrong exit.
A Buddhist temple, that's what that white building was above. The weird thing is that it was located on the edge of a hill overlooking the Med. Sea. Prime real estate, if you ask me. This picture is of the inside of the temple.
And a close up view of the top of the temple.
A look out the front door of the temple. You can see what I mean about prime real estate.
And another picture of the temple.

And happy birthday Ben! Finally old enough to get legally smashed!!
