In case of fire, use buckets

This photo was taken at a gas station, while my car was getting a fill-up. Which, by the way, I have yet to pump my own gas since I've been here. That's just a cultural no-no. Anyway, I took this photo at the same time I took the "take care about your car" pic. These buckets, filled with god-knows-what, are apparently the first (any maybe only) line of defense in case of a gas station blow up. Shit, might as well consider yourself a goner if that's all they have to save your ass--two Indians and 4 buckets of sand trying to put out a fireball seems like a lose-lose situation if you ask me.

LG phones are bulletproof

I've always said that LG phones are bulletproof. I've had at least 4 of them, and the only thing that killed these little Sherman Tanks was a good spin in the washer. I've dropped them, thrown them against the wall and ceiling (repeatedly), kicked them, hit them with various construction tools and equipment, and they still would work. Well, I bought a LG phone when I came out here and I really wasn't happy with it. It's not that it didn't function well, I just didn't like it. So I had been itching for an excuse to buy a new phone and Rachel provided that excuse last week. She inadvertently threw my phone into the washer (because I didn't empty my shorts pockets) and the water finally fried it. And seeing as how I have bragged to multiple people that you could run over an LG phone with a car and it still would work I decided to prove it. I ran over this son-of-a-bitch four times, twice closed and twice open and it didn't EVEN CRACK IT. Check the YouTube videos. The only damage the phone suffered was some small scratching. It open and closed perfectly, see last pic. I am convinced that if it didn't suffer water damage it still would work just fine. So now my little LG phone sits in the back seat of my car, waiting for me to come up with a better way to destroy it. I will keep you updated if and when I can come up with a better burial for my mobile.
